Ladies and Gentlemen: My name is George Duran. My mother unexpectedly passed away in February of this year. She lived in a 2 bedroom condo apartment at 3180 South Ocean Drive in Hallandale Beach. I live in New York and so it took several trips and some time to get her apartment in shape for rental. I met with Catherine and several other prospective brokers in mid-July in order to rent the apartment. I selected Catherine to rent the apartment because (1) Catherine knew the rental value of the apartment based on comparable rentals in the building, (2) she quickly assessed what was needed in terms of minor repairs and painting to the apartment and (3) she advised me that the apartment should be rented within 2 months. After the repairs and painting of the apartment were finished, Catherine promptly took photos of the apartment and it was listed with MLS. Within 2 months of my initial meeting with Catherine, I signed a one-year lease agreement at the monthly rent Catherine suggested (which was higher than the proposed monthly rents suggested by the other brokers I had met). Catherine and her colleagues (Hugo Morales and Natalia Escobar) were very professional in their demeanor and provided prompt responses to my questions as well as realistic and knowledgeable advice throughout this process. Given that I do not live in Florida and my time spent there was very brief, I very much appreciated the fact Catherine was always punctual for our meetings. I am very grateful for Catherine’s assistance with the rental of the apartment and will gladly recommend her to others seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated real estate professional in the South Florida area
