We had been dreaming and looking for five years for a location to build our dream home. We had made a few unsuccessful offers on lots and had Realtors look at selling our existing home. I met Jodi when I went to look at a house with a friend of mine and I liked the way she interacted with us. She was so relaxed and comfortable to talk to, just a genuine person. A few months before I met Jodi, I had given up on the thought of buying my first house. I had worked briefly with a different Realtor; he nor the lender he referred seemed interested in helping me purchase a home. I just gave up, even lost interest in buying a house, accepting it wouldn't happen for me. I was telling Jodi about my situation and that I would likely have to wait to purchase a house. She took the time to listen and give me advice on how to move forward and she referred me to a lender that best fit my needs. I called the lender and was pre-qualified within a day or 2; I was so impressed by how knowledgeable she is about every aspect of buying a house. Jodi's honesty and attention to all of the details was extremely comforting for me. She had such a positive attitude and continually went above and beyond to make sure I got the house I wanted. I don't think I would have made it through the process, things got a little tense with the seller- she knew I was getting upset, so she reached out to their Realtor and got it resolved. What impressed me most; I had some issues come up right after I closed on my place and needed the electrician to come back and check a couple of things. Time had passed so I called Jodi for his number, and after she gave it to me on several more occasions, and then he didn't follow up, I let it go. Finally, 8 months into my house, Jodi called and asked if the electrician had been out, when I told her no, she called, made the appointment and was here to make sure it got done. I have great respect for Jodi, she didn't have to do it, but she did and that doesn't happen enough today.
