About Steven

As the saying goes, “I wasn’t born in Houston, but I got here as soon as I could.”

Steven has lived in Houston for more than 30 years. He purchased his first home in the Garden Oaks area over 20 years ago and has been enamored with that part of town ever since. Watching the Northside — Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, The Heights, and Independence Heights — develop over the years has been a thrill.

Steven is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for ChildBuilders, a 40+ year Houston charity. ChildBuilders provides programs and training to teachers, parents, and students to help keep kids safe. ChildBuilders’ programs teach kids to recognize abuse and victimization and to report unsafe behavior.

Steven’s favorite topics of conversation are classic films, international travel, and French wine. He loves to learn about and explore all three topics — ideally at the same time!
