Relocating to the beautiful state of North Carolina and I'd say without my realtor, I would have been lost. The first realtor was sweet as pie however, not assertive for an out of state move. So, I started my search and found a real gem! Haley? knew I wanted to rent for a year first. So with no pressure which really made a difference. Our recommendation is based on the successful experience in marketing our home. PRICING: Faced with an extraordinary inactive market, the pricing of the property was a difficult and critical challenge. She counseled a "price to sell" approach, with the goal of pricing in our high end of that range. We close on our home next week at 99% of our asking price while two others in the neighborhood have been taken off the market for lack of activity. PUBLICITY: Haley has creative and visual skills and she personally managed the photography which was used for an effective presentation of the home. Much positive feedback was received from both potential buyers and other agents. STAGING THE HOME: This was a contentious issue for us. We loved the way our home looked and didn't think it needed to be repositioned. Haley was finally able to convince us of the "less is more" rationale and the end result was that the house had never been more inviting, but still felt like our home. Haley's creative talent also emerged in guiding choices of painting, and our buyer stressed how important the use of color was in attracting her to the house. In summary, at each step of the process, Haley's understanding of the market, patient education and counseling of her client and creative visual skills were critical factors in the successful completion of the sale.

About Haley

Haley’s real estate career began in New York in 2005, where she had the distinct pleasure of working alongside some of Westchester County’s premier agents. It is here that she learned how to market luxury properties and service their sophisticated clients.

Haley graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Prior to real estate, she worked in development for two not-for-profit organizations, served as an account manager for an event management company with many Fortune 500 clients, and was an advertising director for the Boston retail chain, Filene’s Basement.

Haley is a native of Vermont and lived in Westchester County for over 26 years. In 2014, she and her family moved to North Carolina and now enjoy the “Lake Life” on beautiful Lake Norman.

She and her husband, Buford, are college sweethearts and just celebrated 33 years of marriage. They have three children, Campbell, a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Creative Circus, Camilla, a graduate of the University of Alabama, and Corinne, a graduate of Auburn University. In Haley’s free time, she loves to boat and cheer on her family’s college teams.
