Merfat can be disarmingly sweet or stunningly direct, depending on what the situation calls for. We were buying a house in a hot seller’s market where it seemed houses were being sold before they even reached their showing date. So, being the first to see a house and make an offer was paramount. We blindsided Merfat with countless last-minute requests to view houses. Miraculously, she got us appointments for every one of the houses, sometimes while they were in “coming soon” status, and we didn’t hear one complaint from her about all the driving.
