About Rebecca

Rebecca Moxey has had her real estate license since 2004 and has over 25 years of experience in corporate sales.  She is married to Brian Moxey, former President of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage South, and now a member of  Team Moxey, in real estate on Topsail Island.  We have daughter who grew up on Topsail Island, and graduated in 2023 at NC State University. We moved our family to Topsail Island 23 years ago, leaving her hometown of Atlanta behind.  

Rebecca has always been an avid sports enthusiast and athlete.  Participating in triathlons, open water swimming events and running in the Wilmington, NC area for 16 years.  She and Brian have taken part in organizing local charitable events, including the New Year's Day Dolphin Dip Extravaganza in Surf City raising money for Share the Table, a local food bank. Rebecca also organized and particpated in the Team Inspire Ice Breaker Run Across NC benefiting mental health and substance use awareness.  She loves creating acrylic art, and has particpated in the Autumn With Topsail annual festival, each October.  

Rebecca and Brian followed their dream in 2001, moving away from metropolitan Atlanta to Topsail Island, coastal NC.  It has been the best move they ever made.  Let Rebecca share how her process can help you find your place for the sea!  

Topsail Island is a unique, boutique barrier island, about 25 miles north of Wilmington, NC.  It is geared towards family vacationing and having a bustling local community that is both charming and has a historical story, as well.  This is the area where Blackbeard, the pirate, roamed the waters to watch for the "topsail's" of the ships on the sea, to then attack from the intracoastal waterway.  

This area, also has historical value with our military, local to Camp Lejeune, after WWII they began "Operation Bumblebee" to test rocket missiles to be used in modern jet propulsion, spacecraft and missiles.  

The south end of Topsail is an iconic location for many to walk the roughly 150 acres of natural undeveloped beach beauty, home to many species of birds, and aquatic life, with gorgeous natural dunes and sea grass.  It is being permanently preserved by the NC Coastal Land Trust for public use and conservation.
