Raised on a farm in rural Minnesota, I learned the value of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance early in life. At just 12 years old, I started my first business raising beef cattle — an experience that helped fund my education at the University of Minnesota and shaped my lifelong work ethic.

Sales came naturally to me. While in college, my “Advanced Sales” professor once pointed to me and said, “You’ll be in sales one day!”—and she was right. For over 35 years, I’ve built a career rooted in service and relationships, working as a lobbyist, account executive for a recycling firm, and sales representative in the construction industry. Each role strengthened my negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills — the same skills I now bring to every real estate transaction.

As a Certified Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), I’m uniquely qualified to assist clients aged 50 and older as they navigate the emotional and financial aspects of selling a long-held family home. I take the time to listen, guide with compassion, and ensure every decision feels right for your next chapter.

As a Certified Home Staging Expert, I help sellers showcase their homes to attract more buyers and higher offers. Staging is more than decorating — it’s about creating emotional connection. By highlighting a home’s best features and minimizing distractions, I help buyers envision themselves living there the moment they walk in (or see the photos online).

Over the past 19 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping nearly 750 families buy or sell their homes throughout the Twin Cities and beyond. I’m also deeply engaged in real estate leadership and advocacy, serving with the National Association of Realtors®, Minnesota Realtors®, and the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors®. I regularly attend NAR’s legislative meetings in Washington, D.C., where I advocate for policies that support homeownership, affordability, and consumer protection.
